"Kool" To Be Kind & The Positivity Project

MISSION: Nativity of Mary School provides a Catholic education that fosters academic excellence and spiritual growth while preparing students to become responsible citizens in a global society.

Nativity is a "Kindness Campus." Through education, counseling services, and a focus on God's greatest commandments, Nativity students seek to be kind to everyone. Throughout the year, educational opportunities and Kindness events help to remind students of who we want to be as Christians and disciples of Jesus.

Nativity of Mary School has made a commitment to teach students how to treat others, to follow the example of Christ, and to focus on the positive attributes of one another in order to build up each other. We are now part of the Positivity Project, a national program dedicated to teaching children about their own character and to support one another. During October as part of National Bully Prevention Month we plan special presentations or activites. From in-school presentations by outside groups, counseling programs for all grades, and special activities, we highlight God's call to each of us.

GOD'S GREATEST COMMANDMENTS: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: "Love your neighbor as yourself." - Matthew 22: 36-40

In addition, service activities are planned and opportunities for younger students to pair up with older "Pals" to learn from one another throughout the school year. Join us in the partnership as together we support all of our students and educate them on God's great plan for their life.
