"Kool" To Be Kind
MISSION: Nativity of Mary School provides a Catholic education that fosters academic excellence and spiritual growth while preparing students to become responsible citizens in a global society.
Nativity is a "Kindness Campus." Through education, counseling services, and a focus on God's greatest commandments, Nativity students seek to be kind to everyone. Throughout the year, educational opportunities and Kindness events help to remind students of who we want to be as Christians and disciples of Jesus.
Each October during National Bully Prevention Month, specific activities are coordinated to begin the year focused on the fact that it's "Kool to be Kind." In addition, service activities are planned and opportunities for younger students to pair up with older "Pals" to learn from one another. In the spring, a "Kindness Week" emphasizes, celebrates, and reminds us the importance of being kind and loving others.
GOD'S GREATEST COMMANDMENTS: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: "Love your neighbor as yourself." - Matthew 22: 36-40
