Objectives For Preschool
Your child is growing up quickly, and before you know it, he will be marching into kindergarten and singing her way to first grade! Your child's foundation for academic success starts now. In our classroom, I design an environment that is intentional and engaging for students to further develop:
- Personal & Social Skills
- Language & Literacy
- Mathematical Thinking
- Scientific Thinking
- Social Studies
- The Arts (as an expression & representation)
- Physical & Spiritual Health
Our classroom environment is designed to give children the best preschool experience by including materials and resources to meet early learning standards. Lesson plans are created with these standards in mind. Although some lessons and things we do daily may focus or highlight one or two of the standards, so many more are being met through our schedule and interactions. Your child is beginning to take steps in approaching learning and solving new problems. Look at my door to see the Early Learning Standards of Minnesota.

Getting to know each student and their family is important to me and the community we are blessed to be a part of. My hope is that this page serves as a tool for you to help you stay connected to our classroom and the daily happenings of our preschool adventures. Please check your class-specific page often to view reminders, pictures & more.
